We had the pleasure of collaborating with Dezarticulat publishing house on an exciting new poetry volume, written by the talented Vlad Dragoi. This book is part of Dezarticulat’s new poetry collection called s u p e r s o n i c, for which we also designed the logo.

For this poetry volume, we handled all aspects of the book design, from typography and layout to creating custom illustrations that complement the author’s poetic style. The cover features a photograph of the author overlaid with a textured symbol we designed using the sun motif that appears throughout the book’s interior.

Inside, we designed a pattern for the interior of the cover, which will repeat throughout the s u p e r s o n i c collection. We typeset the poems and added a thoughtful design elements, like the hand-drawn illustration that match the tone of the volume. Details like adding rhythm by repeating the sun motif makes browsing the book an immersive experience. It was a pleasure working closely with the author and publisher to highlight Vlad Drăgoi‘s captivating poetry through considered design that weaves together photography, illustration, typography, and more. This volume represents the creative potential of our end-to-end book design services.
