Linden flower, but make it modernist.
A fragrant logo design for our friends at Plevnei Civic, a neighborhood association working on building community, restoring their building's garden and sorrounding common spaces, and improving the wellbeing of all the residents in the process.
The inspiration for this design was the contrast between the blooming linden trees in the courtyard, and the sharp lines of the 1960s modernist apartment block sorrounding them. We used the double V in the words to construct a stylized linden flower, and a modernist font for the type.
